Running

Below you will find examples of our running routes. Each route can be adjusted to the level of the group. During the run you will be guided by one us on the MTB. The coach not only shows you the route, but also ensures that you receive a water bottle during (long) endurance runs. We are also happy to give you technical advice for a more efficient running style.

Valdezufre (17km)

Starting from the Rebollar, a famous hiking trail of 4 kilometers, we run into the fields. We run mostly on soft surfaces and encounter little or no traffic. When we get to the village of Valdezufre, we run through a beautiful meadow with Iberian pigs back to Aracena.

Aracena- La Umbría (23km)

The first 10 km are hilly but mostly descending. This is the perfect warm up for the second part of the course. We take you along small roads where you will have to climb steep slopes. Although the course is challenging, it is certainly athlete-proof.

Los Marines (11km with the possibility of shortening to 5km)

At 5km from Aracena we find the small village, Los Marines. It is the ideal route to train together with athletes of different levels because you can easily take a shortcut. The route is hilly and unpaved.

Higuera de la Sierra (13.56km with 219 altitude meters)

One of our specials! We take you by car to the village of Puerto Moral. The route follows a beautiful hilly and unpaved path through the fields, meandering along the river to the small bridge. Now you can choose: go to the top of the mountain or run back along the river.

Special Minas de Riotinto (16km of 32km)

This route is the absolute queen stage of the week. Accompanied by the MTB you follow the red river (Riotinto) from the old train station to Berrocal. The landscapes are unique and the red river created by the old iron mine is impressive. You run straight through the old iron mine and see landscapes passing by that look a lot like mars and are therefore often used for film sets.

After 16 km you can choose to be picked up by car, cycle back on the MTB or test your marathon legs and run back to the old train station.
